129DUNDEE, N.Y. —December 15, 2016- When you’ve had success in dirt modifieds, you’re always looking for that next challenge.  Something to keep the fire burning as a competitor.  It appears that Tyler Siri has found that ‘something’ that will keep his fire burning in 2017.

On top of running Outlaw Speedway and managing a brand new surface in 2017, Tyler Siri has reported exclusively to Race Chaser Online that he will race in six 360 sprint car shows at his racetrack next season.

Siri has won at Outlaw Speedway in the dirt modified division, but 360 sprint cars have been a dream of his to tackle.

044“I love sprint cars and they put on one hell of a show at our racetrack,” said Siri on Tuesday afternoon.  “They have always looked like a blast to drive and I’m excited to get to do that at our dirt track in Dundee.  Owning this track was a dream for me and to be able to do this in 2017 only makes the whole deal that much sweeter.”

Siri will have an Empire Super Sprint Hall of Famer helping him turn wrenches and helping with maintenance on the Outlaw Speedway, Superior Crushing No. 5*.  Malcolm Lane from Dundee will be a part of this six race schedule, helping Siri and bringing that veteran presence to the team.

Lane made headlines during the 2016 season, when he announced that he would be starting a USAC team that would compete in the dirt track events on the Silver Crown schedule.  A driver for that team has yet to be announced, but is expected this offseason.

“You couldn’t ask for a better guy to help us learn these cars,” said Siri.  “Malcolm was a hero to many including myself, and we will have plenty of opportunities for me to get some seat time and to work together before our first race.”
