Moon Shine Camo Brings History Making Event To Port Royal Speedway

PORT ROYAL, Pa. – April 13, 2017- Motors are revving up for the upcoming invasion of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Port Royal Speedway on Sunday, April 23, sponsored by Moon Shine Camo.

The invasion of the LOLMDS at Port Royal will be the first of its kind by the national touring circuit anywhere in the mid-state.

The Moon Shine Camo Lucas Oil Late Model main will be 50-laps in distance, paying $10,000 to the winner, making it the biggest late model race in the history of the oval.

Also on the agenda will be the Mason Dixon Shootout Series for limited late models, paying $1,000 to win.

Racing gets underway at 6 pm with adult general admission set at $25 and students ages 12 – 18 set at $10.

General admission gates will open at 3 pm.

Fans will be able to purchase Moon Shine Camo wares during the racing program and Moon Shine will present special prize packs to both feature winners.

Stock car fans can expect to see the national stars of the Lucas Oil tour such as Scott Bloomquist, Mooresburg, TN.; Josh Richards, St. Marys, OH.; Darrell Lanigan, Union, KY.; Steve Francis, Ashland, KY.; Tim McCreadie, Watertown, NY.; and many more.

Likewise, all the local stars are expected to compete for the top cash prize along with bragging rights including Port Royal defending champion Andy Haus, Hamburg; Mike Lupfer, Shermansdale; Dylan Yoder, Selinsgrove; Jeff Rine, Danville; Gary Stuhler, Greencastle; and the list goes on.

The April 23 date at Port Royal is a “can’t miss” event on any late model fans 2017 calendar and quite possibly their lifetime “must see” list.
