Super Late Models to Race in 40-lap, $4,000 to Win Main Event, 410 Sprints and Xtreme Stocks Fill Out Racing Card

Port Royal Pa.- May 31, 2017 – Port Royal Speedway will present the Appalachian Mountain Dirt Late Model Speedweek Series this Saturday night, June 3 at 7 pm.
The Weikerts Livestock 410 sprints will join the River Valley Builders super late models on the racing program along with the Juniata Junction xtreme stocks.
The Late Model Speedweek program will find the super stock cars competing in time trials, heats and a 40-lap feature event paying $4,000 to win.
The sprint cars will race in heats and a 25-lap feature as well.
Previous Port Royal Late Model Speedweek winners include Jeremy Miller in 2010, Matt Parks, 2011; Rick Eckert, 2013; Tim McCreadie, 2014; and Gregg Satterlee in 2015.
The race was rained out in 2016 and in 2009 while the track opted out of the series in 2012.
Adult general admission for the program is set at $22 with students ages 12 – 18 admitted for $10.
General admission gates open at 4 pm.
The oval will host EMMR/Penn Central Racing Reunion Night on June 10 featuring a display of vintage race cars from both clubs.
Sponsored by River Valley Builders, the night will feature racing action for the 410 sprints, PASS/IMCA 305 sprints and the econo late models.
