Mercer Raceway Car Show Coming Soon!

Mercer, PA – February 7, 2017- It won’t be long for fans to see the cars that will compete at Mercer Raceway Park and other area speedpaths. Shenango Valley Mall will partner up with the Park to host the annual car show on March 2-5.
The show will be open to all classes of race cars. But it is anticipated that most of the cars on display will come from the divisions that compete weekly at Mercer Raceway Park: The 410 and 305 Sprints, 358 Modifieds, Modified Lites, and Mini Stocks. Other classes that will see action on the tricky oval will be the Late Models, e-Mods, Stock Cars, Micros, and Junior Sprints. Karts can also participate in the show.
Racers who wish to display their cars need to contact the Track Manager, Frank Benic, to make arrangements. He can be reached at 724-662-1310 or 724-699-1260. There is no fee to register a car for the show.
The cars will be move into the mall on Wednesday, March 1. They will be on display through Sunday, March 5.
The cars will hit the speedway for the first time on Saturday, March 18. There will be an open practice session for all classes, followed by the Snowflake 25, the biggest event on the Mini Stock docket, and the Jack Frost Enduro. The Chiller Thriller will be held on March 25, again being round one of the classic clash between the BRP Modified Tour Big Blocks and the track’s own 358 Modifieds.
