GRANDVIEW REMEMBERS TRACK FOUNDER WITH FORREST ROGERS MEMORIAL PRESENTED BY PIONEER POLE BUILDINGS SATURDAY, $10,000 GOES TO THE WINNER OF THE MODIFIED CLASSIC

BECHTELSVILLE, PA August 6, 2015 . . . Saturday, August 8, offers one of the classic events of the season at Grandview Speedway, one of the most prestigious of area tracks, with the running of the Forrest Rogers Memorial presented by Pioneer Pole Buildings. The 50-lap race paying at least $10,000 to win will feature the T.P.Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds and with that amount of money being offered it is quite possible that there will be some visitors, outside competition, coming to try for the pot of gold that also includes $250 from TP Trailers of Limerick and $150 in product from VP Racing Fuels provided that the winner has the proper decals on the winning car and is using VP racing gasoline.

The Rogers family keeps the NASCAR sanction on this event and it is their way to make this race something special for the Modified racers that support the track each week.

Also included as part of the night of stock car racing action will be the exciting BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars.

A full slate of qualifying races will be run and earn the drivers starting spots in the three different feature stock car racing events. At least a dozen events are on the schedule for the night’s activities. Just five more Saturday night NASCAR point events remain as drivers battle to win titles and improve their positions in the point standings so they can share in the lucrative point funds posted by the Rogers family and NASCAR.

The night remembers the man who had the idea and a plan. He made it all work.

Adult admission is $25 while youngsters 6 to 12 pay $5 and kids under 6 are admitted free.

Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. and at the main gate the weekly Low Down and Dirty Meet and Greet will feature Modified point leader Craig VonDohren, three feature winner Kevin Hirthler, Brian Hirther and BRC Late Model point leader Chuck Schutz. All are sponsored by Pioneer Pole Buildings. VonDohren has also won the Forrest Rogers Classic five times, more than any other driver.
