Nick Schwebach has started off the season strong in the WISSOTA Street Stock division picking up a pair of early season trips to victory lane but defending track champion Mike Blowers only sits four points back.  Like father, like son Bernie and Kory Adams are tied in third place while Troy Voth rounds out the top five.  The 2014 most improved driver Noah Grinstead currently sits in sixth but don’t rule out the hard charger Daniel Richards in the 3R car.

Dustin Scott sits on top of the WISSOTA Midwest Modified division and continues to show he knows how to get around the high banks but Josh Crary has picked up his program in 2015 and has made a statement early in the season.  Robert Franklin, past track champion Jared Bumeester, along with Casey Trom have also made their presence known.

Shaun Walski finds himself on top a thick USRA B-Mod division and is back on top of his game.  Kylie Kath sits in second over two time winner Erik Kanz but watch out as Brandon Hare, Andrew Bleess, Alex Williamson, Cole Queensland, Jon VanMinsel and many more are poised to put themselves in victory lane at some point this season.

Defending WISSOTA Super Stock track champion Jeff Brauer leads the way with multiple victories early in the season but keep an eye on Richards in the #7 rocketship.  Brian Fetting, youngster AJ Hof and the veteran Kevin Hager round out the top five.

Lucas Schott has slid himself into the top spot of the USRA Modified division with two thrilling victories early in the year but Brandon Davis is hot on his heels only one point down.  All time feature winner at the speedway Bob Timm has been posting impressive finishes and will be a force to reckon with.  It’s only a matter of time before Cory Crapser finds himself in victory lane and don’t rule out “The Candyman” Josh Angst who is ready to finally get that monkey off his back.

The weekend’s event will kick off at 2:00 p.m. on Button Buck Speedway as the little stars and their cars will compete in their second event of the 2015 season.  Don’t forget that the afternoon events are FREE in the grandstands for ALL ages.

The school buses were originally scheduled to compete this week but have been moved due to scheduling conflicts and will now compete during Mascot night on Saturday, June 20th.

The draw cut off and the driver’s meeting for those competing on Deer Creek Speedway will take place at 4:30 at the scales.  Raceceivers and transponders will be required with a limited quantity available to rent.  The first green flag is scheduled to fly at 5:00 p.m.

Adult tickets for the evening events are $12 and kids 12 and under get in for FREE! Pit passes are $25 for adults and $15 for 12 and under.
