Rascoe Does It, Wins Ollie’s Cajun Region First of 2022 at Super Bee Speedway
CHATHAM, LA – He got it done.
For the first time in 2022, Converse, La.’s Tommy Rascoe drove to victory in Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco Ollie’s Cajun Region competition on Saturday at Super Bee Speedway.
Rascoe earned $1,000 for his efforts at the Chatham, La., quarter-mile oval.
Taking advantage of a front-row starting position in the 20-lap main, Rascoe drove his 318 Bail Bonds-sponsored No. R21 to victory over current Day Motor Sports point leader Caleb Dillard of Robeline, La., who started fifth.
Alan Myers continued his strong efforts with the series. The Sibley, La., driver placed third, followed by Keith Badiali of Benton, La., and Koty Adams of Doyline, La.
Adams was the Shed Road Auto Parts Hard Charger, driving from 11th to finish fifth.
Heat winners were Myers and Badiali.
The Short Track Super Series Ollie’s Cajun Region Day Motor Sports point series moves to Rocket Raceway Park in Petty, Texas for Round No. 5 on Saturday, June 18.
