USAC’s Western and Eastern HPD Midgets compete this Saturday as the 2015 season continues on the West Coast and debuts on the East Coast.

Dylan Nobile leads the Western contingent to Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway’s Bullring, while Scott Hunter reigns as the defending Eastern champion entering the series opener at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, S.C.

Nobile won the Western opener at Lake Havasu City, Ariz. and followed with a third at Blythe, Calif. and enters the Las Vegas event with a 14-point lead over Annie Breidinger.

The Eastern series will make its first appearance at Williamston since 2004 when Chase Scott won. Nike Drake won the last USAC race in South Carolina, a 2011 HPD race at Dillon Motor Speedway, while Hunter scored a 2010 victory at Dillon.
