Daryn Pittman and Brad Sweet Will Have New Crew Chiefs for The 2017 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series season.

sweet%202-x2MOORESVILLE, N.C. –November 22, 2016- Kasey Kahne Racing drivers Brad Sweet and Daryn Pittman will both have new crew chiefs when the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series kicks off in February.

Kale Kahne is moving from Pittman’s No. 9 team to take over leadership duties on the No. 49 car driven by Sweet. Kahne has been paired with Pittman for several years and helped lead Pittman to the 2013 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series title.

Lee Stauffer previously served as Sweet’s crew chief. The pair scored eight victories this year and finished fourth in the championship standings after leading the series standings through the first three months of the year.  Sweet earned 45 top-five finishes and 65 top-10 finishes throughout the year.

pittman%201-xlJoining Kasey Kahne Racing to take over crew chief duties on Pittman’s No. 9 car is Eric Prutzman. The veteran mechanic most recently served as crew chief for Joey Saldana on the No. 83 Roth Motorsports entry.

Pittman came on strong at the end of the season to bring his No. 9 team home in second spot in the Outlaw standings. Pittman won eight features and added 45 top-five and 68 top-10 results.
