Flemington Speedway Car Show Gearing Up For Annual Event

Flemington, NJ —August 31, 2016- Lentini Auto Salvage presents the Flemington Speedway Historical Society Car Show on Saturday, October 15 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event happens rain or shine at the South County Park / Hunterdon County Fairgrounds, with entrances located off of Route 179 in Ringoes. The physical address is 1207 Route 179, Lambertville, NJ, 08530.
Flemington Speedway Historical Society (FSHS) is a public charity 501(c)(3) whose mission is to preserve, protect, and document the history of the Flemington Fairgrounds and Speedway.
From bikes to buses, boats to biplanes — entries are sought from all types of vehicles — and all types of vehicles have been displayed. Last year, over 900 vehicles participated in Hunterdon County’s largest car show.
Flea market and swap meet vendors are welcome to set up inside. Space is limited; pre-registration is recommended. Last year, three 160 foot long pole barns were filled to overflowing. This year, four such pole barns will be used. Premium outdoor commercial vendor spaces are also available. Exhibitors and vendors should register online now to save time and money. Vendors and exhibitors are encouraged to arrive on time and display through 3:00 pm. Gates open for vendors and exhibitors at 7:00 am. For details visit: www.flemingtonspeedwayhistoricalsociety.com.
Spectator admission is $5 per person. Children 16 and under are admitted free with adult. Spectator parking is free. Vehicle entry fee is $15. Trophies will be awarded in several vehicle categories. Spectator gates open at 9:00 am. Proceeds benefit FSHS and the Hunterdon County 4-H and Agricultural Fair.
Per Hunterdon County Division of Parks and Recreation, no alcoholic beverages or dogs are permitted.
