The Insigner Performance Modifieds have been added to this Friday’s show at Big Diamond Speedway. The addition of the Modifieds will make this week’s show a huge show. Along with the always exciting 358 Modifieds will be the USS Achey Sportsman, Savage 61 Road Runners, Eash’s Towing & Recovery Street Stocks, Central PA Legends and the 600 Modifieds. With the season winding down quickly it looks to be a two-car race between Craig Von Dohren and Ryan Godown for the Insigner Performance Modified track championship. Von Dohren currently leads the way with three points paying wins (4 wins altogether) and a 126-point lead over Godown who has only one win but has been a model of consistency. Duane Howard, Billy Pauch Jr and Ryan Krachun are close behind just waiting for the top two to falter.
In the race for the title in the USS Achey Sportsman division, it looks like it is Doug Hendricks title to lose as he has opened up a huge lead in the division over Wayne Witmer. Chris Holland (Savage 61 Road Runners) and Kody Sites (Eash’s Towing & Recovery Street Stocks) are the respective points leaders in those divisions.
Gates will open Friday night at 5:30pm with warmups starting at 7:15pm, racing will get underway promptly at 7:45pm.
General admission will be $18, kids 11-12 are $10. Kids 10 and under are free along with active military with valid ID.
