National Sprint League Drivers Racing for Big Money During Tripleheader This Weekend

7-9-16-SHARON-heinbros-9WINDOM, MN- July 27, 2016-  A lot of money is up for grabs this weekend when the National Sprint League will have three races in three days at three different tracks.

The action begins on Friday at Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn., where the track is putting up its biggest single-day purse ever. The winner will receive $20,000 with second place pocketing $10,000. All A Main starters will make at least $1,000.

Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, will host a $5,000-to-win event on Saturday prior to the weekend finale on Sunday at Hancock County Speedway in Britt, Iowa, where the main event pays $5,000 to win and $1,000 to start with 24 cars making the A Main.

Craig Dollansky holds a 33-point lead over Danny Lasoski in the championship standings entering the tripleheader.

Dollansky is coming off his series-leading third triumph of the season last Friday at Jackson Motorplex while Lasoski picked up second-place finishes last Friday at Jackson Motorplex and last Saturday at Knoxville Raceway to continue leading the series with eight podium finishes.

Brian Brown is the series most recent winner as he garnered his second victory of the season at Knoxville Raceway last Saturday to move into third place in the championship standings.

Dollansky, Lasoski and Brown have combined to win seven of the 14 National Sprint League races this season.

7-9-16-SHARON-heinbros-12Sammy Swindell and Kerry Madsen are the only other drivers to win multiple events this year.

Tickets for Friday’s event at Jackson Motorplex are $25 for adult general admission, $22 for seniors ages 65 and older, $12 for students ages 13 to 18 and free for children ages 12 and younger. Pit passes are $35.

The pits are slated to open at 3 p.m. with the front gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps will begin around 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the race at Knoxville Raceway are $15 for adults, $10 for ages 13 to 19 and free for ages 12 and younger. Pit passes are $25.

Hot laps are scheduled to begin at 6:45 p.m. with qualifying at 7:15 p.m.

Adult tickets at Hancock County Speedway are $20 and $10 for children ages 5 to 12. Children 4 and younger are free.

The front gate is scheduled to open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6 p.m.
