FIFTEEN DIFFERENT FEATURE WINNERS IN SIX NIGHTS OF RACING

BECHTELSVILLE, PA – June 5, 2017 . . . So you want to talk about competitive racing? Well it is certainly happening at Grandview Speedway. In the primary division of NASCAR stock car racing at the one-third-mile, banked clay track, the TP Trailers 358 Modifieds, there has been six different feature winners in six Saturday nights of racing. Craig VonDohren, the defending champion, leads Jeff Strunk by just six points in the point battle and neither driver had visited victory lane until this past Saturday when 10-time track champion Strunk edged out Mike Kellner for the feature win.
Brian Hirthler leads the NASCAR Sportsman standings and has managed to win one feature while in the BRC Late Models defending champion Chuck Schutz leads the standings but has yet to visit victory lane.
Stock car racing action returns to Grandview Speedway on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. when Whelen Engineering, a major supporter of NASCAR, presents the tripleheader night of racing excitement. Included will be the TP Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman racing. Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m.
The Low Down and Dirty Meet & Greet is set to take place when the gates open and will feature Modified racer Steve Swinehart, Late Model talent Steve Todorow and Sportsman competitor Jeromy Guistwite along with their race cars.
Adult admission is $15 while youngsters 11 and under are admitted free. Pit admission is $30 and a NASCAR license is required. Pits open at 3 p.m.
Then on Tuesday, June 13, 7:30 p.m. the excitement of the nationally famous United States Auto Club wingless sprint cars will be featured. Also part of the Jesse Hockett Classic is the popular Small Block Modifieds.
