New Egypt Speedway Gearing Up For All Star Cup Shootout Saturday, September 20th;
NES Regulars Ready To Do Battle With Invaders

New Egypt, NJ– A little over one week from now New Egypt Speedway will host its second annual All Star Cup Shootout featuring the 358 Modifieds, Crate Modifieds, and Racesaver® Sprints. As the event looms near with a big payday on the line invader entries are stacking up to take on New Egypt Speedway regulars. Duane Howard, Doug Manmiller, Keith Hoffman, Tim Buckwalter, Craig VonDohren, Mike Mahaney, Richie Pratt Jr., Jimmy Horton, and Rick Laubach are all expected to compete in the 40-lap, $10,000 to win 358 Modified All Star Cup Shootout. They will look to out dual New Egypt regulars Ryan Godown, Billy Pauch, David VanHorn, Jimmy Blewett, Neal Williams, Willie Osmun, Tad Cox, Gary Butler, Danny Bouc, Billy Pauch Jr., Kevin Vaclavicek, Johnny Cornell, and John Stangle who will fight hard to defend their home turf on their way to a big pay day.

Not only will drivers Duane Howard, Doug Manmiller, Jimmy Horton, Billy Pauch Jr., Ryan Godown, and Billy Pauch look to be collecting on a $10,000 payday, but they will also be competing to be crowned the second annual 358 Modified All Star Cup champion. That payday carries a $5,000 price tag, so one driver could walk away with $15,000 by winning both the race and the championship.

Thanks to some of the sports great sponsors, drivers will also be competing for some great bonuses including a gift certificates courtesy of Bob Hilbert Sports Wear to the feature winner; $50 gift certificate for 4th place courtesy of Four-Star Lettering & Design of Green Lane, PA; $50 gift certificate to the Last Lead Lap Car in the feature courtesy of Lineman Racing; feature winner will receive a guaranteed starting spot in the Short Track SuperNationals 7 at the I-88 Raceway in Afton, NY on October 11th thanks to Brett Deyo of BD Motorsports Media; $100 gift certificate from JLD Graphics to the 21st place finisher; 9th place Modified finisher receives a guaranteed provisional starting spot in the 9th Annual Friends of Mike race at the Bridgeport Speedway on September 28th; $20 gift certificate to Mikes Performance of Wall, NJ to the first car across the line with a Mikes Performance Decal; can of beer to each lap leader (21 years of age or older) courtesy of PM3 Digital Imaging; free tire certificate for 15th place and one for the first non qualifier courtesy of Lias Tire; and $50 gift certificates for the 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th place drivers in all three divisions courtesy of ASI Racewear.

Racing in their own All Star Cup Shootouts that night will be the Crate Modifieds in a 30-lap, $5,000 to win $250 to start event and the Racesaver® Sprints in a 25-laps $3,005 to win $300 to start event. Pit gates will open at 10:30 am for all outsiders needing to go through New Egypt safety and technical tech. Grandstand gates will open at 12:30 pm with a pre-race party taking place in the turn four picnic area with autograph sessions, cars on display, vendors, and a silent auction. Hot laps will begin at 3 pm and the first green flag will wave at 4 pm. Adults are $30, seniors 65 and older are $28, teens 12-15 and active military and their spouses are $15, and children 11 and under are free. Pit admission is $35 with any track license and $40 without any track license.
