Empire Super Sprints Speedweek, Big Block Modifieds & Fireworks Part Of Fulton Speedway July 2 Racing Spectacular

fulton640039FULTON, NY – June 28, 2016 – Spend part of your Fourth of July weekend this Saturday, July 2 at the Fulton Speedway when there will be fireworks on the track and in the sky presented by NAPA Auto Parts & A-Verdi Storage Containers Brewerton and Fulton Speedway’s 360 Sprint Cars Series.

On the Speedway it will be “Wings & Warriors” featuring the winged beasts of the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints Speedweek and the warriors of the 800 horsepower, ground pounding Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds. Also on the race card will be the SUNY Canton Sportsman, Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Late Models and E&V Energy Novice Sportsman plus fireworks.

Adult admission July 2 is $20 with everyone 18 years old and younger free, pits are $35. Gates will open at 5:00 with racing at 7:00.

fulton640014The Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints Speedweek has some of the best 360 Sprint Car drivers in the Northeast including Fulton Speedway Big Block Modified standout Larry Wight who will be strapping into his Gypsum Express/Gypsum Wholesalers/No.99L Sprint Car defending home turf.

Last season in the ESS 25 lap A-Main Steve Poirier had to hold off serious challenges from Larry Wight and then Justin Barger for the exciting win. The win was special for the Quebec resident as it was his 50th career Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprint win.

Feature winners on June 18 at the speedway were Larry Wight (Big Block Modifieds) Todd Root (Sportsman) Brandon Ford (Late Models) Richie Riggs & Willy Decker Jr. (Novice Sportsman).
