Order Tickets in Advance for a Tradition Now; The 46th Annual Freedom 76 Classic at Grandview Speedway

And the tradition continues on Saturday, September 10th, when the 46th edition of the Freedom 76 Modified stock car racing classic is presented at Grandview Speedway. With more than $25,000 available to the winner, the race attracts many of the top names in dirt track Modified stock car racing.

Thousands of race fans jam Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, PA to see dozens of racers try to qualify for a starting spot in the 76-lap classic that takes place on the one-third-mile, banked dirt track. Actual qualifying event racing will start at 7 p.m.

And on the night before there will be a doubleheader featuring the exciting Sportsman stock cars with a 38-lap feature topping their part of the show and the TSRS 305 Sprints. Racing will start at 7 p.m.

Advance tickets are now on sale at the track with adult tickets priced at $35. Youngsters 6 thru 11 pay just $10 and kids under 6 enter for free. Adult tickets on race day will be priced at $40 just as they were last year. Advance ticketholders enter the track at 3 p.m. and get to pick their seats in advance of race day ticket purchasers. All gates will be open at 3:30 p.m.

Pits will open at 9 a.m. and admission is $45 with no license required.

The Friday night Sprint and Sportsman doubleheader does not offer advance tickets and will be priced at $12 for adults, $5 for youngsters 6 thru 11 and kids under 6 are admitted free.

To order advance tickets send a check payable to Grandview Speedway that will cover the amount due for all tickets being ordered to 87 Wilt Road, Bechtelsville, PA 19505. Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope for faster service in obtaining the advance tickets. Advance ticket orders must be received by September 2nd.

There will be camping and parking rules in place for the big event. All campers and tents set up in Turn 4. There will be no saving of spots. No open fires are allowed and no pallets can be burned. All golf carts and 4-wheelers must be parked by 10 p.m.

Grandview speedway 7-16-16 102 (1024x685)Those interested in purchasing a lap sponsorship or more can do so for just $20 a lap. Sponsorship of a qualifying event runs $250 with only three remaining. Come up with an award of your own and we can discuss it. Radio personality and racer Bobby Gunther Walsh has posted $500 for the Hard Charger Award. T.P. Grandview Speedway, a one-third-mile, banked clay track, is located on Passmore Road just off Route 100 in Bechtelsville, PA, 10 miles north of Pottstown.
