Williams Grove Speedway Saturday Night Series Returns To Action This Weekend

Mechanicsburg, PA., July 28, 2015 After taking a week off the Williams Grove Speedway Saturday Night Series returns to action onAugust 1. The forecast is for a rain-free Saturday evening of fun-filled racing action.
The Blazer’s Body Shop Super Sportsman, Credit Connection Auto Sales 358 Late Models and Aquafun Pools Street Stocks will be in action. Including this show, there are four remainingSaturday night events, making each race very important in the point chase.
Frankie Herr, the 2014 Super Sportsman point champion, currently maintains a 110-point lead over Scott Dellinger. In the 358 Late Models Billy Wampler has a 165-point edge over defending champion Alan Sagi. The point chase is tight in the Street Stocks with Craig Morgan bringing a 55-point lead over Jasen Geesaman into Saturday’s racing.
Williams Grove Speedway management is donating their portion of the Saturday night 50/50 money to Jill’s Legacy. Jill’s Legacy is a youth advisory board to the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation.
Saturday practice begins at 6:30 PM with racing commencing at 7 PM. Adult admission is $6 with children 12 and under free.
