Rare “Run What Ya’ Brung” Program For Sprints And Super Late Models Friday At Williams Grove Speedway

_mg_0057-xlMECHANISBURG, PA –October 3, 2016– Williams Grove Speedway will host a rare “Run What Ya’ Brung” racing program of 410 sprints and super late models coming up this Friday night, October 7 at 7:30 pm.

The October 7 racing program will not be a point event for the 410 sprint cars as the rulebook is thrown out the window for the special event.

The 410 sprints will race for $3,800 to win in a 25-lap main event while the super late models compete in a 25 lapper as well, paying $2,000 for the victory.

The top 12 finishers in the heat races will redraw to start the main events.

Adult general admission is $15 for the racing program with youth ages 13 – 20 priced at $10.

Kids ages 12 and under are always admitted for free at Williams Grove Speedway!

For the sprint cars, any types of spoilers, wings or sideboards may be used in the event and cockpit adjustments are permitted.

In addition the sprint cars will be racing with no weight limit or tire rule however all cars must adhere to current Williams Grove Speedway engine rules.

_mg_0220-xlThe super late models likewise may use any typer of spoiler, wing or sideboards and there is no weight limit or tire rule plus there are no engine rules.

Following this Friday’s racing program at Williams Grove Speedway, the rescheduled 54th annual Champion Racing Oil National Open for sprint cars featuring the World of Outlaws Craftsman Series sprint cars will close the season on Friday, October 14 at 7:30 pm.

The make-up National Open will be a 40-lap affair paying $25,000 to win and $1,000 to start.

The race will pay full points toward the 2016 Williams Grove Speedway track title with the season champion being crowned at the conclusion of the event.
