Velocita Signs On As 2016 Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series Fueled By VP South Region Sponsor; Racers Benefit With Custom Race Suit Giveaway, Product Certificates & More

BOYERTOWN, PA – The Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By VP welcomes a new partner for 2016.

Velocita, the North Carolina-based provider of premium motorsports fire suits, gloves, shoes and sublimated crew shirts/apparel, has signed on as the title sponsor of the 2016 STSS South Region for big-block/small-block Modifieds.

The Velocita South Region is comprised of seven events at five different venues during the ’16 season. The season opens on Saturday, March 12 at Georgetown Speedway in Georgetown, Del., with the Melvin L. Joseph Memorial. The STSS Velocita South Region visits Bridgeport (N.J.) April 17, Big Diamond Speedway in Minersville, Pa., May 10, Delaware International Speedway in Delmar, Del., May 26, New Egypt (N.J.) Speedway June 14, Susquehanna Speedway Park in Newberrytown, Pa., July 31 and concludes with a return trip to Georgetown on August 30.

A massive total point fund of $25,250 has been posted for the STSS Velocita South Region seven events.

Velocita answers to very high standards with SFI and FIA. Currently, Velocita offers custom suits, pro suits, two-piece crew suits and crew shirts. Options are available on the official Velocita website: www.velocita-usa.com.

“We are thrilled to bring Velocita on board for the 2016 season,” STSS organizer Brett Deyo said. “Racers across the country associate Velocita with both quality and affordability. They will be great partners for our program.”

As part of the marketing agreement, STSS competitors will benefit.

At the year-end Awards Banquet, the top-10 Velocita South Region drivers and top-12 Halmar International North Region performers will be entered into a drawing for a free custom suit courtesy of Velocita (minimum value $999).

Additionally, 10 certificates for Velocita valued at $100 each will be distributed during the season to competitors in both regions.

Velocita will also supply the official STSS officials’ uniforms to be worn at all ’16 series events.

Ryan Watt of Boyertown, Pa., is the defending champion of the STSS Velocita South Region. Watt looks to repeat the title with his Ron Roberts-fielded team.
