The USAC Silver Crown Champ Car Series returns to the Moody Mile in Syracuse, New York for the final time during “Super DIRT Week” on October 9 and 10, 2015 for the “Salt City 78.”
This is your last chance to see the champ cars on the legendary New York State Fairgrounds dirt mile before the track closes. If this is one event you’ve always had on your bucket list, do not wait!
Practice and qualifying for the USAC Silver Crown Series is set for Friday, October 9 at 10:45 to 11:00am and 1:05 to 1:20pm, while qualifying is slated for 1:20pm.
On Saturday, October 10, spectator gates open at 9:30am. Pre-race festivities for the “Salt City 78” get underway at 1:15pm before the green flag waves for the final “Salt City 78” at 1:30pm.
Do not miss this historic event as Silver Crown Series point leader Kody Swanson of Kingsburg, California tries to defend his Syracuse win against 2015 race winners Shane Cockrum and Chris Windom as well as former series champion Jerry Coons, Jr. and several other contenders.
