New Egypt, NJ – New Egypt Speedway’s March Madness Meltdown this Saturday March 19th has another invader proclaiming his interest in this weekend’s event.

Fresh off of his first career NASCAR K&N Pro Series East win in Mobile, AL on Sunday, 15-yr old Tyler Dippel has set his sights on New Egypt Speedway’s March Madness Meltdown this Saturday March 19th.

The Wallkill, NY native is looking to take the $5,000 first place check back to The Empire State with him, also this Saturday will mark the first time Dippel has raced at the D-Shaped oval located in the Central Jersey Pinelands.

In a rare instance where the Big Block Modifieds take on the Small Block Modifieds at New Egypt Speedway fans can expect the likes of 4-Time Syracuse 200 winner Stewart Friesen, Jimmy Horton, Rick Laubach, Ryan Watt, Duane Howard and more taking on New Egypt Speedway regulars such as Billy Pauch, Ryan Godown, Billy Pauch Jr., Danny Bouc, and Neal Williams.

PM_Dippel-2Over $1,000 in lap money has been raised for Saturdays 50 Lap, $5,000 to win affair paying $1,000 for fifth and $400 to take the green. The Open/Crate Sportsman are also on the card paying $1,000 to win and $100 to start.

New Egypt Speedway is also planning on a plethora of fan giveaways on Saturday so make sure you get there early.

Pit gates will open at 12 PM for early technical inspection. All cars must go through safety inspection prior to hitting the track for the first time in 2016. Grandstand gates will open at 3:30 PM, Hot laps will begin at 4 PM and the first green flag will wave at 5 PM. Adult admission is $25, seniors 65 and older are $23, teens 12-15 and military and their spouses with ID are $15, and children 11 and under are free. Pit admission is $35 with any track or series license and $40 without a license.

New Egypt Speedway is located on Route 539 just minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike. A racy 7/16-mile D-shaped dirt oval, New Egypt Speedway serves Garden State race fans with some of the best competition in the country. New Egypt’s state-of-the-art facilities feature daylight-quality lighting and excellent sightlines from any seat in the house. The grandstands are fully wheelchair accessible with wide, clear, and well-groomed walkways.
