MIDDLETOWN, NY –December 6, 2016- A change is coming for Bill Pascual Racing in 2017. After an amazing run at Eastern States Weekend which saw the team finish second to Stewart Friesen in the 200 a decision was made for a driver for next season.
The team had a several drivers to choose from for 2017, but team owner Bill Pascual and crew chief Ralph DeGraw tapped “The Montgomery Missile” Anthony Perrego to be behind the wheel of the No. 3 machine.
The team will compete weekly at the Orange County Fair Speedway. It’s been their home track for several seasons and that will continue next season. In addition to Orange County, Pascual and team will try to add the Accord Speedway track championship to its resume. The team’s schedule will include a full Friday night and Saturday night home track venture at Accord and Orange County. Races outside of the home track will be announced soon.
Perrego will also be driving for Superior Remodeling owner Brian Smith’s number 44. They run a 358 small-block Modified at OCFS and a modified for Brett Deyo’s “Short Track Super Series.” They are coming off a $5,000 victory in The Gobbler this past Saturday.
Both teams will join forces to achieve the best results for driver Perrego.
