SSP Racing Family Mourns the Loss of Racer Carnie Fryfogle
Newberrytown, PA (August 1, 2015) – The Susquehanna Speedway Park racing family mourns the passing of Carnie Fryfogle of Manchester, Maryland. Fryfogle’s one-car accident occurred on the final lap of the 20-lap All American Outlaw feature event at the Susquehanna Speedway Park on Saturdaynight, August 1. He was running in the eighth place position out of nineteen drivers when the incident took place on the backstretch of the speedway. Fryfogle was pronounced dead by the York County Coroner at the track.
The thoughts and prayers from the entire SSP family of employees, friends, fans, drivers and crews are with the Fryfogle family during this difficult time.
