SpeedSTR’s Head To Mahoning…USAC All Pro Tour Opener Set For Saturday, April 25
Lehighton, PA – An outstanding field of USAC SpeedSTR hotshoes is expected to enter the season opening All Pro Tour event on Saturday, April 25, at Mahoning Valley Speedway in Lehighton, PA.
Last season, MVS star Kris Graver utilized his home track experience and asphalt knowledge to sweep both of the SpeedSTR races at Mahoning. The uber-talented Graver will return to defend and try to extend his pavement win streak on the 25th as he buckles into one of the potent Kovatch SpeedSTR’s.
Joining Graver will be another Mahoning regular, Earl Paules of Kunkletown, who has a 2014 SpeedSTR triumph on the clay at Kutztown’s JeffreyHogueRealtor.com Action Track USA.
Willy Evernham and asphalt Modified specialist Danny Bohn will also twist the steering wheels in SpeedSTR action at Mahoning, the tough quarter-mile bullring that regularly produces spectacular side by side racing. Evernham and Bohn will take on veterans of the division such as Wayne Weaver, Kenny Brightbill, Matt Janisch, Kyle Lick, and Mike Bednar along with SpeedSTR newcomers Steve Nederostek, Rick Kirkendall, Nick Baer, Tim Iulg, Ron Tobias Jr., and a host of others.
The All Star Slingshots will also be part of the fun at Mahoning Valley Speedway on the 25th, competing in a Mid-Atlantic Silver Tour event.
