SOLID RUN REWARDS NARDELLI WITH A FOURTH PLACE FINISH AT BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY’S POKER SERIES EVENT
Sicklerville, NJ (June 4, 2015) – A solid run rewarded Lee Nardelli with a fourth place finish at Bridgeport Speedway’s second Poker Series event on Sunday, May 31.
With a stout field of thirty-one wingless 600cc micro-sprints on hand for the contest, qualifying for the main feature was not an easy task. Nardelli started sixth out of eight cars in his heat race and finished in fourth place. Coming from thirteenth place in the extra distance 25-lap main event, the Bridgeton, NJ wheelman steadily advanced through the field during the feature. When the checkered flag waved, he was scored in fourth place. “I was happy for the fact that if something were to happen with the leaders, we were right in contention for the win. All in all, I had a solid night,” summed up Nardelli. He will be seeking to increase his point lead in the wingless 600cc Micro-Sprint division when he returns to Bridgeport Speedway on Friday, June 5.
