In a busy night of racing, six different winners visited Victory Lane at Spirit Auto Center Speedway. Jon Keller scored his second win of the season in the wingless 600cc Micro Sprints while Tyler Reinhardt won his fourth 270cc Micro Sprint feature. John Webster won his sixth ServPro Four Cylinder Enduro feature. Lee Allen won his third Eight Cylinder Enduro of 2016. Bobby Butler and Rich Mellor split the two 12-lap exhibition features for the Northeast Wingless Sprints.

In 600cc Micro Sprint action, Keller jumped out to the early lead but Matt Smith got upside down in the first turn bringing out the red. On the restart, Keller again took command followed by Chris Locuson. Locuson passed Keller to take the lead on lap three. Bill Thomas, Steve Bracall and Nick Havens chased the early leaders. On lap nine, Locuson came to a sudden stopped while leading. Bracall, Havens and Thomas were also involved. Thomas ended up on his roll cage in the melee. Locuson and Thomas headed to the pits while Bracall and Havens restarted the event. Keller assumed the lead on the restart with Bobby Butler, Wayne Scott and Ed Barber, III in tow. The top four remained unchanged to the checkered flag. Travis Hill who started twentieth in the feature came on to finish fifth.

Reinhardt took full advantage of his front row starting position to lead all 20-laps to record his fourth win of the season. John Wagner, Jr. held second until halfway when Alex Swift took control of second. Wagner’s strong run ended two laps later when he fell off the pace and headed towards the pits, giving third to Ryan Heim. Swift and Heim finished the event second and third with Billy Murphy and Robbie Watson finishing fourth and fifth.

Webster chased down early leader Chris Sammons to record his sixth win of the season. Sammons finished second with Scott Miller third in the non-stop event. Allen passed his brother, Christopher Allen, Sr. in the early laps of the feature and then held onto beat Tom Wolf, Derek Jones, Vinny Troia and Christopher Allen in the non-stop 30-lap event.

The Northeast Wingless Sprints made their debut in a pair of exhibition events at Spirit Auto Center Speedway. Butler led all 12-laps in the opening event being chased across the finish line by Rich Mellor, Wayne Weaver, Heidi Hedin and Chris Moll. The field was inverted for the second feature. Hedin led the opening lap until she spun in the third turn before completing lap two. Mellor inherited the led on the restart and went on to record the win. Butler finished second followed by Weaver, Moll and Hedin.
