SCHEDULING CONFLICT FORCES CANCELLATION OF HIGFAB CHASSIS SEMINAR, SATURDAY’S OPEN PRACTICE STILL ON AS SCHEDULED
VERNON, NY- With the rescheduling of Brett Deyo’s Hard Clay Open at the Orange County Fair Speedway, the HigFab Chassis Seminar that was planned for this Saturday, April 11, has been cancelled. Jerry Higbie and Vinny Salerno were set to host the informational session but both are committed to compete in the early season special and are regretfully unable to participate in the seminar. Anyone who purchased tickets for the seminar can call Kim Shea at (315)794-7805.
The Test and Tune session that was scheduled for Saturday is still on as planned and will start at 4 p.m. and go until 7 p.m. The open practice is open to all divisions and types of cars to help teams prepare for the upcoming season. Not only is this a perfect opportunity to get valuable practice time but is also a great time for competitors to purchase their NASCAR licenses to avoid any delays on opening day. A NASCAR license is required to compete in the four weekly divisions
American Racer tires will be available through the speedway for the Open Sportsman teams while Ned Kinney will be on hand with the Hoosier tires mandated for the Modified and 602 divisions. A parts truck will also be on the grounds for the any last minute fixes.
Pit entry will be $20 per person while the grandstands will be free.
This is all preparation for the 2015 season opener which is set to begin on Sunday April 19 with Twin 20 lap features for the Stampede Steakhouse Modifieds plus a regular show of 602 Sportsman, Open Sportsman, and Pro Street Stocks.
