PRACTICE SET FOR THURSDAY NIGHT AT GRANDVIEW, SEASON OFFICIALLY OPENS ON SATURDAY

BECHTELSVILLE, PA April 1, 2015 . . . The weather is predicted to be very good and racers are anxious to get out on the track to test their equipment when the Free-to-the-Public practice session takes place on Thursday, April 2nd at Grandview Speedway.

A variety of race cars representing several segments of the sport are expected to be on hand for the four hour practice session that will start at 6 p.m. and be completed by 10 p.m.

Fans will have the opportunity to see what many of their favorites will be racing when the season starts and the race teams will have a chance to be sure everything is ready for the new season.

On Saturday, April 4th, the 53rd consecutive season of stock car racing will get the green flag on the one-third-mile, banked clay oval. The chase for the lucrative championships will get underway as the NASCAR 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars will all be in action.

A special attraction will be the appearance of Little Miss Motorsports Jayden Gursky who will be part of victory lane activities.

Adult grandstand admission for the 7 p.m. opener will be $15 while youngsters 11 and under will be admitted FREE.

Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m. and again this year a weekly Low Down and Dirty Meet & Greet will be taking place at the front gate area. This gives fans the opportunity to meet some of the standout racers that perform at Grandview each Saturday night.

Coming up on Saturday, April 11th, is the first special event of the season with the NASCAR 358 Modifieds featured in a 35-lap main event. The BRC Late Models and Sportsman will also be part of the tripleheader night of racing action. Modified racers will be racing for increased prize money along with the winner earning extra perks from T.P.Trailers and VP Racing Fuels provided the meet the sponsor requirements.

Adult admission for the special will be $20 while youngsters 11 and under are admitted for $5.

The first Outlaw Enduro of the new season is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 19th.
