Both Drivers Head To PA Track In Search Of Race Of Champions Series Opener Victory

003SELINSGROVE, PA -March 17, 2016-  Dirt modified racing’s most recent star, Anthony Perrego of Montgomery, N.Y., and dirt modified racing’s biggest star, Brett Hearn of Kinnelon, New Jersey will join the Ferris Mowers Race of Champions Dirt Modified Series Fueled by Sunoco when it takes center stage at Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday in the ‘Icebreaker 40 presented by Insinger Performance’.

Perrego will head to Selinsgrove fresh off his biggest win to date which came in the Short Track Super Series opener this past Saturday at the historic Georgetown Speedway in Delaware. Perrego will be piloting Gary Mann’s familiar red New York Truck Parts TEO Pro Car in which he has developed his talents and become a contender at any event he has entered.

Hearn, who is an eight time Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series champion, comes to Selinsgrove off a victory in Florida at Volusia Speedway Park which was his 883 career victory. He will be behind the wheel of his Cedar Peaks Madsen Motorsports Fox Shocks TEO seeking his first-ever Selinsgrove feature victory on Saturday afternoon.

The $4,000-to-win ‘Icebreaker 40 presented by Insinger Performance’ is scheduled to kick off the season for the Race of Champions Dirt Modified Series at 2:00 pm with a large contingent of drivers scheduled to be in attendance for the Pennsylvania Modified opener. Pit gates will open at 11:00 am with grandstand gates opening at 12:00 pm (noon). The rain date, if necessary, will be Sunday, March 20.
