New Egypt Speedway Ready for All Star Cup Weekend

DSC_0091New Egypt, NJ–           New Egypt  Speedway is busy gearing up for their biggest event of the 2015 season in the first ever All Star Cup Weekend. Friday night’s Prelude to the Cup will now carry an Open Practice element for anyone wanting to shake down their cars for Saturday night’s event. There will be three hot lap sessions throughout the event for all cars looking to practice.

Both the Prelude to the Cup event that features the Sportsman, Racesaver® Sprints, and Street Stocks as well as Saturday’s All Star Cup that features the 358 Modifieds, Crate Modifieds, and NEWS Sprints are shaping up to include lots of invaders for the big money purses. Sportsman expected invaders for Friday night include Brett Kressley, Jim Housworth, and more. Saturday’s Modified event expected invaders include Duane Howard, Rick Laubach, Dominick Buffalino, Doug Manmiller, John Willman, Kevin Beach, Craig VonDohren, Frank Cozze, Jeff Strunk, Norm Hansell’s 357, Steve Searock’s 26, and many more.

There will be lots of exciting giveaways for the fans all throughout both Friday and Saturday night. Black Flagged Racing who is the title sponsor of the Street Stock Spectacular Friday night will have 100 goodie bags, 100 glow sticks, and 200 can koozies as well as t-shirts to throw out in the crowd for Friday night. The Speedway along with BAD Motorsports has 50 children’s goodie bags and t-shirts to toss out Friday night. Route 1 Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram has provided Frisbees and t-shirts to toss out Friday and Saturday night. Vahlco Wheels has provided hats and Bob Hilbert Sportswear has provided t-shirts to throw out Friday and Saturday night. Love My Hair Salon in Yardville, NJ has also provided goodie bags to throw into the stands for both Friday and Saturday nights.

There will also be a Silent Auction both Friday and Saturday night in the Turn 4 picnic area. Tickets will be 2 for $1 and winners will be drawn Saturday night. You do not have to be present to win. Auction items include a signed Joey Logano baseball, a signed Bubba Wallace baseball, a Chris Grbac door panel, a Billy Pauch Jr. door panel, a Neal Williams door panel, a Ryan Simmons door panel, a Dale Earnhardt Jr. AMP jacket, a Speedway Motors helmet bag, a gift basket from BAD Motorsports, a Brandon Grosso door panel, a Jimmy Horton trophy from a Bridgeport Speedway win, a piece of Danny Bouc’s race winning tire from 2014, and much more.

The All Star Cup Weekend kicks off Friday, September 25th. Pit gates open at 3 pm, front gates open at 5 pm, hot laps begin at 6 pm, and racing starts at 7 pm.  Adults are $20, teens 12-15 and military and their spouse are $10, and children 11 and under are FREE. Pit admission is $35 with any track or series license and $40 without. No New Egypt Speedway coupons or season passes will be accepted. A two day general admission pass will be available for $45. Saturday, September 26th will feature a 40-lap, $7,500 to win 358 Modified event and 25-lap, $3,000 to win Crate Modified event. Pit gates open at 11 am, front gates open at 1 pm, Fan Fest is from 1-3 pm, hot laps begin at 4 pm, and the first green flag waves at 5 pm. Adults are $30, teens 12-15 and military and their spouses with ID are $15, and children 11 and under are FREE. Pit admission is $35 with any track or series license and $40 without.
