NARDELLI CONTINUES TO LEAD THE WINGLESS 600CC MICRO-SPRINT POINT STANDINGS AT BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY
Sicklerville, NJ (May 12, 2015) – After three point races in the wingless 600cc Micro-Sprint division at Bridgeport Speedway, Lee Nardelli continues to lead the standings in the chase for the 2015 championship.
After taking the checkered flag in the first two point events that took place on the last two Fridays in April, Nardelli competed in the third contest awarding points at the Southern New Jersey raceway on Friday, May 8. The night started off on a high note as Nardelli won his heat race. Starting tenth in the 20-lap feature, the driver based in Bridgeton, NJ motored toward the front and completed the contest in third place. “The race went well. I felt like I had a chance for the win,” summarized Nardelli. His next race at Bridgeport Speedway in the wingless 600cc Micro-Sprint class will take place on Friday, May 15.
