Mr. Rooter Named Title Sponsor of June NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Race at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park
Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park and Mr. Rooter Plumbing franchisee, Vin Beedle, announced today that the Connecticut-based company will be the entitlement sponsor of the 125-lap NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) slated for Wednesday night, June 10. Beedle and his company are long-time supporters of auto racing in New England, sponsoring the Mr. Rooter New England Truck Series, as well as fielding a truck in the division in 2015. The drivers of the Truck will include NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Champions, and Thompson’s own Sunoco Modified driver, Keith Rocco, as well as Limited Sportsman – and SK Modified – driver Ed Puleo.
“With the Mr. Rooter 125 we are expanding our support beyond where we originally started. This will be our first time partnering with Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, which I’m especially excited about,” Beedle said. “I appreciate being able to support the drivers, fans and crews at Thompson and am looking forward to a great event.”
The Mr. Rooter 125 will be held on June 10, 2015 and will feature the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, Thompson’s four NASCAR Whelen All-American series divisions, as well as the Vintage Outlaws. This marks the first time since 2012 that the track has hosted four NWMT events. The Mini Stock division will compete in a 20-lap feature, which will kick off the start of their Triple Crown Series. It will also be the first Triple Crown race for the Limited Sportsman.
“Vin Beedle and Mr. Rooter are great friends of motorsports, and we are very pleased to welcome them as the entitlement sponsor for our newest NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event,” said TSMP General Manager, Josh Vanada. “Vin’s support of this event demonstrates his commitment to be a promoter and ambassador of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park.”
