WEEDSPORT, N.Y. – Aug. 16, 2016 – The Mr. DIRTcar Home Track program has been tracking members at their DIRTcar sanctioned home tracks since the beginning of January. The Mr. DIRTcar Home Track Championship pits local racers from across the Northeast region against one another in pursuit of the title and points payout at all DIRTcar sanctioned tracks throughout the region. The championship recognizes the work put in by weekly racers throughout the region and is separate from the individual series titles allowing members to rack up their points by never having to leave their home tracks.
The program awards the championship based on the 16 best finishes of a driver in his or her respective division at any DIRTcar sanctioned track in the Northeast. The point fund pays out between $1,000 and $6,000 to the champion, depending on the division. Decreasing amounts are awarded to top-points finishers. The 2016 program will soon be coming to an end on Monday, Sept. 5th. To be eligible, a competitor must be a DIRTcar member.
Home tracks will issue bonus points towards the series on Monday, Sept. 5th based on where the team stands at their home track.
Number of DIRTcar sanctioned tracks for each division:

8 – 358 Small Block Modified tracks
