March Meltdown To Launch New Egypt Speedway’s 2018 Season Saturday March 24th

New Egypt, NJ – New Egypt Speedway’s 2018 season will begin on Saturday March 24th 2018 with the March Meltdown.

The event that will be highlighted with a 50-Lap Modified feature which will pay $5,000 to win and $400 to start. Hoosier and American Racer tires will be allowed in order to attract outsiders to the Ocean County, NJ D-Shaped facility. Past winners of the March Meltdown include Jeff Strunk in 2011, Jimmy Horton in 2013, Ryan Godown in 2014, Stewart Friesen in 2012 & 2016 with Mother Nature winning the 2015 & 2017 editions.

The Open vs. Crate Sportsman will be the support division competing in a 25-Lap feature paying $1,000 to win.

Pit Gates will swing open at 12PM with Spectator gates opening at 2PM with Hot Laps beginning at 3PM and Heat Races at 4PM.

New Egypt Speedway is located on Route 539 in New Egypt, NJ just minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike. A racy 7/16-mile D-shaped dirt oval, New Egypt Speedway serves Garden State race fans with some of the best competition in the country.
