Many Racers Looking to Add Their Name to the Growing List of Different Winners this Season at Grandview Whelen Engineering Night Offers Gifts to Mothers
BECHTELSVILLE, PA May 6, 2015 . . . Mothers attending the Whelen Engineering Night of NASCAR stock car racing at Grandview Speedway on Saturday (May 9) will have the opportunity to receive gifts, more than 300 to be given out to early arriving mothers, courtesy of track owners, the Rogers Family, and Auman Photography.
And there will be many racers looking to crack victory lane and add their name to the growing list of different winners in the stock car racing action. There have been four different feature winners in the five features run so far in the NASCAR 358 Modifieds and the BRC Late Models. In the Sportsman racing Brett Kressley has won four out of the five features run so far and that means the other competitors will be working even harder to make sure there is a new name in victory lane this Saturday night.
As an added attraction, no increase in admission prices, the Blast from the Past Vintage racers will be in action giving fans a chance to see what stock car racing looked like in years past.
There will be qualifying heat races leading up to the feature races in each of the NASCAR divisions of stock car racing.
Whelen Engineering, a long time NASCAR supporter as the sponsor of the NASCAR Whelen All American Series, is a leading manufacturer of automotive, aviation, industrial and emergency vehicle lighting. There are Whelen lights at work at Grandview Speedway.
Racers will be going after the lucrative prize money, the bonus bucks from T.P. Trailers of Limerick and the product awards from VP Racing Fuels if they have the decals in place on their race cars.

Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. with the popular Low Down & Dirty Meet and Greet taking place right outside the main entrance and will feature Modified racer Brian Houseknecht and Sportsman racer Paul Houseknecht. Racing starts at 7:30 p.m. Adult admission is $15 while youngsters 11 and under are admitted free. Active military personnel are given free admission with proper ID.
Coming up on Saturday, May 16th is Checkered Flag Fan Club Night with members of the group, one of the oldest fan clubs in the nation, looking to add new members to the organization. With this being Neurofibromatosis Month and May 17th set as National NF Day Grandview will attempt to turn the track blue with NF stickers. This will be a regular night of racing featuring the NASCAR 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars.
