LEE NARDELLI LANDS IN VICTORY LANE AT NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY

Sicklerville, NJ (June 16, 2016) – Making a change to a different racing division can be challenging. After claiming the 600cc Micro-Sprint championship at Bridgeport Speedway, Lee Nardelli sold his title winning car and decided to enter the brand new Northeast Wingless Sprint Car class at New Egypt Speedway for the 2016 season. After only five events, Nardelli has made the task of switching divisions look fairly routine as he landed in victory lane by topping the field in the 20-lap feature on Saturday, June 11.

When the night of racing began at New Egypt Speedway, Nardelli, from Bridgeton, NJ, appeared to be a strong contender as he won his qualifying race. In the 20-lap main event, Nardelli took the lead from his pole position and staved off several challenges from Bobby Butler to nab the victory. “As a team, we had been struggling for the first few races. I did reach out to a few of the other teams and I did get some very helpful advice. It was great to get the win and I am looking forward to getting a few more before the end of the year,” stated Nardelli.
