Valley Swing Begins August 6th At Lebanon Valley Speedway

FONDA, NY- August 1, 2016- Just about one month ago King Of Dirt Racing visited the ‘Great Race Place’ for a full-fender firecracker, which Dan Older claimed victory. On August 6th the annual ‘Valley Swing’ begins taking KOD to the high banks of Lebanon Valley Speedway for three strait races.
Last year John Virgilio was victorious after all was said and done during the KOD Sportsman ‘Battle On The Banks’ at the valley of speed. Newcomer Of The Year contender Cody Hunt followed across the line in 2nd with Frank Hoard Jr., Kevin Arnold, and Rocky Warner rounding out the top five.
August 26th the KOD Pro Stock tour visits Lebanon Valley Speedway during the ‘valley swing’ to decide the 2016 full-fender championship. Last year Robbie Speed fell four points short of Nick Stone for the title chase despite his 4th place finish. This year Speed leads the point standings by 16, however Chuck Dumblewski, Rob Yetman, Dean Charbonneau, and Nick Stone are mathematically in the hunt for the crown.
1-800-GOT-JUNK King Of Dirt Crate Sportsman Series Presented By Dodson Construction, Elmo’s Speed & Supply, and Hoosier Racing Tire returns to Lebanon Valley for the final leg of the ‘valley swing’ during Mr. DIRT Track USA featuring the Super DIRTcar Modified Series. Michael Sabia won Mr. Crate Track USA last year after a spirited battle with Chris Curtis and Scott Duell. John Virgilio and Ricky Davis rounded out the top five.
Surely KOD Sportsman tour drivers like Connor Cleveland, Tim Hartman Jr., Jeremy Pitts, Cody Bleau, and David Schilling will have their hands full with track regulars defending home turf that include Jeff Watson, Kevin Ward, Chris Lynch, John Virgilio, Whitey Slavin, and others.
Jay Corbin played spoiler of sorts in last years Lazzaro’s Auto Body King Of Dirt Pro Stock Series Presented By Stone Motorsports, Speed’s Garage, and A-1 Installers championship night. He’s been on fire on the high banks in 2016, but a host of full-fender drivers are coming to throw down for the crown in hopes of becoming champion.
