INDYCAR will host an unveiling of the Honda superspeedway aero kit package at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Thursday, April 30 at 2 p.m. (ET). The event adds more activity to the schedule prior to opening weekend at the famed 2.5-mile oval, including the May 3 Promoter Test which marks the on-track debut of superspeedway aero kits from both Honda and Chevrolet.

The 99th Running of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race on May 24 will mark the competition debut of superspeedway aerodynamic bodywork kits designed, manufactured and supplied by Honda and Chevrolet. Cars will be differentiated by their shapes on track, as the manufacturers have designed separate aero kit specifications for road and street course/short ovals and superspeedways for the Dallara IR-12 chassis.
