CANTON, Ill. – June 18, 2015 – Heavy rain this week has forced DIRTcar Racing and Spoon River Speedway officials to cancel Thursday night’s DIRTcar Summer Nationals and DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals events.

The two series will return to action on Friday at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, Ill., with a $10,000-to-win feature for the Summer Nationals tour and a $1,000-to-win Summit Modified race. The busy stretch of races continues on Saturday at Fairbury (Ill.) American Legion Speedway and on Sunday at Quincy (Ill.) Raceways.
