GME Steering Hard Charger Award Set for Modifieds and Sportsman at Big Diamond
MINERSVILLE, PA (2/1/15)—Arguably the most recognizable name in the world of power steering, GME Manufacturing will return to Big Diamond Speedway to sponsor the “GME Hard Charger Award” for weekly competition in the modified and sportsman divisions.
Specializing in a wide variety of motorsports, GME Manufacturing has provided fantastic service for over 50 years out of their New Ringgold, PA facility and has been an integral part of some of the success to some of the biggest names in the sport.
GME will reward a weekly award of $25 to the driver that advances the most positions in the modified and sportsman in each feature event in ’15.
The car show has been moved to the Schuylkill Mall in Frackville, PA and will kick off the 2015 season. The Schuylkill Mall is very excited to host the event and supports local dirt track racing. The open to the public test and tune session is set for Sunday, March 15th at 1:00 p.m. Any car with a roll cage is welcome to attend.
The first race of the 2015 season at Big Diamond Speedway is Sunday, March 22nd (4:00 p.m. start) for the 44th annual Season Opener as the Modifieds, Sportsman, Roadrunners, and Street Stocks all take to the track with extra cash on the line.
