FRED RAHMER BRINGS 410 SPRINT CAR RACING BACK TO PATH VALLEY SPEEDWAY FOR AN EXCITING THREE RACE SERIES

SPRING RUN, PA (March 15, 2015) – After an inaugural 2014 event that boasted a standing-room-only crowd and the largest car count of the nine events during Pennsylvania Sprint Car Speed Week, Fred Rahmer Promotions returns to Spring Run, PA’s Path Valley Speedway, for an expanded three event series featuring 410 Sprint Cars and 600cc Micro Sprints.

With a $5,000 top prize up for grabs — plus additional driver incentives and bonuses — you can expect the area’s best Sprint Car racers to be on hand when the first event of the 2015 season kicks off on Sunday, April 26 with a 6:00 PM hot laps start time.

The 25th running of Pennsylvania Sprint Car Speed Week stops at the Path Valley Speedway on Sunday, June 28 with the 410 Sprint Cars and 600cc Micro Sprints co-headlining the popular event.  Close to the heart of Rahmer — who holds 30 PA Speed Week victories and 13 PA Speed Week Championships — this event will prove to be nothing short of spectacular.

The final event of the Fred Rahmer Promotions season takes place on Saturday, October 17.  Along with a regular program of 410 Sprint Cars and 600cc Micro Sprints, a special “Fans Choice Feature” will take place where the winner will take home an additional $6,000 top prize.  Drivers must compete in all three Fred Rahmer Promotion events to be eligible for the “Fans Choice Feature.”

Each event will follow a traditional Pennsylvania Speed Week event format and rules.  Drivers will participate in time trials, in which a blind draw will determine the time trial order, followed by qualifying heat races and a B-Main event.  The A-Main will be lined up by time trials with an inversion of four, six or eight.

While the racing will be hot and heavy on the 1/4-mile bullring, off-track accommodations have been greatly improved from the previous season.  Rahmer, along with Perkasie, PA’s Tru-Line Contractors, has spent much of the winter constructing new grandstands that include pit access and additional restrooms.

Steve Post, Motor Racing Network’s NASCAR Pit Reporter and co-host of the popular Winged Nation radio program, will once again provide the call of the night’s racing action with his ever entertaining play-by-play announcing, including various fan giveaways and prizes.

One of the more interesting incentives for the 600cc Micro Sprint competitors is the opportunity to win a test session aboard one of the Fred Rahmer-owned 410 Sprint Cars.  Two opportunities will be available, one to the winner of the series Points Champion, and the second to a random driver who has participated in all three events in the series.

It all starts on Sunday, April 26 with pit gates opening at 12:00 noon, grandstand gates opening at 2:00 PM, and hot laps beginning at 6:00 PM with time trials immediately following.

General Admission ticket prices are $20 and children under 12 are admitted FREE.  NEW Reserved Grandstand Seating with Pit Access tickets are available for $30. General Pit Access is $30
