Frank Cozze to Return to Super DIRTcar Series Fold For 2016
2008 Syracuse 200 and DIRTcar Hall of Famer Frank Cozze will again chase Super DIRTcar Series points in 2016. Cozze who was a mainstay on the Super DIRTcar Series for a number of years has teamed up with George Huttig to drive his No. 35 Bicknell Chassis which will be powered by Morrison Engines for the entire series.
Cozze who has amassed eight Super DIRTcar Series wins dating back to the Orange County Fair Speedway 1989 has not run the full series since 2007; his last series win was his biggest though winning the Syracuse 200 in 2008.
That’s not the only ride the veteran from Wind Gap, PA will have for 2016. Cozze will also race at the Grandview Speedway when it doesn’t interfere with his Super DIRTcar schedule in Tom Umbenhauer’s No. 19 machine.
Cozze’s last win in a modified came back in 2013 driving Norm Hansell’s No.357 at the Big Diamond Speedway.
