Fan Fest Activities, Giveaways, and Tailgating Competition Set for
New Egypt Speedway’s All Star Cup Shootout Saturday, September 20th

New Egypt, NJ– As New Egypt Speedway’s All Star Cup Shootout quickly approaches, the management team is hard at work preparing great activities and giveaways for the fans attending. Added to this year’s event is a pre-race Fan Fest in the turn four picnic area from 1-2 pm. Fan Fest will see cars from all three divisions racing that night on display, a driver autograph session, music, energy drink tastings, t-shirt row, driver interviews, and much more. Teams are invited to set up their t-shirts to sell along “T-Shirt Row” on the grandstands in the picnic area.

“The All Star Cup Shootout isn’t just about bringing an increased purse and a worthwhile race for the drivers. It’s also about celebrating with our fans,” said track General Manager Allyse Wolfinger. “As the racing season winds down, we want to thank our fans for another great season and get them excited for the racing they are going to see that night.”

Also added to this year’s All Star Cup Shootout will be a pre-race tailgating competition. Tailgaters are encouraged to put together the best display to celebrate their favorite driver or drivers. The display with the most creativity and imagination will win a Tailgating prize pack valued at over $75. Judging for the competition will take place at 12:30 pm before the start of Fan Fest and will be announced by 1 pm.

A silent auction has been put together featuring sheet metal from drivers David VanHorn, Jimmy Blewett, Mike Butler, Bryan Kuhl, Tom Princiotta, Johnny Cornell, and Chris Grbac. There will also be memorabilia from Danny Bouc (helmet visor), Neal Williams (helmet), David VanHorn (apparel), Tom Princiotta (apparel), and Ryan Godown (apparel). Also up for grabs will be tickets to Windsor Farms Haunted Hayride, tickets to Friday night at Super Dirt Week, passes to Speed Raceway, and a golf outing at Gambler’s Ridge Golf Course. The silent auction will be set up in the turn four picnic area and winners will be pulled during Intermission.

Fans will have a chance at some great giveaways throughout the night as well. The first 50 fans through the front entrance will receive a goodie bag with stickers, coupons, pens, and more from sponsors like Friendly’s Restaurants, Kinsler Fuel Injections, and Pioneer Pole Buildings. Throughout the night the Track Hostesses will be throwing t-shirts courtesy of Hecht Trailers, Physical Therapy Associates of Mercer County, and Bob Hilbert Sportswear.

Pit gates will open at 10:30 am, front gates will open at 12:30 pm, hot laps will begin at 3 pm, and the first green flag will wave at 4 pm. Adults are $30, seniors 65 and older are $28, teens 12-15 and active military and their spouses are $15, and children 11 and under are free. Pit admission with any track license is $35 and $40 without any track license.
