BREWERTON, NY – As the saying goes, ‘don’t mess with a good thing.’
That is exactly how the parties at Dirt Track Digest and the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series Fueled by Sunoco felt after the conclusion of the 2019 racing season. After quick negotiation, the contract was signed allowing DTD TV to continue to be the official pay-per-view provider of the Short Track Super Series North and South Region for the foreseeable future.
“We couldn’t be happier with how things went in 2019,” said Short Track Super Series promoter Brett Deyo. “Dirt Track Digest TV was the perfect outlet for our series. We heard nothing but positive feedback from owners, drivers and fans about the coverage offered by DTD TV. We are really excited to see that we can continue our relationship with Dirt Track Digest TV.”
DirtTrackDigest.TV began in 2017 with coverage of weekly events at the Utica-Rome Speedway in conjunction with promoters Bill and Kim Shea. Rapid expansion occurred in just a year with the broadcast of nearly 80 events over the course of the 2018 season. The 2019 season saw coverage of weekly racing action as well as the entirety of the Short Track Super Series schedule and other major events including the historic Fonda 200. 2020 should bring us more of the same.
“When the opportunity came up to continue our relationship with Brett Deyo and the Short Track Super Series it just made sense,” stated Dirt Track Digest co-owner George Smith. “Brett’s series offers some of the best racing in the Northeast and we are really happy that we can continue our relationship moving forward.”
DTD TV’s first broadcast of the 2020 racing season for the Short Track Super Series will occur on Thursday, February 6 from the All-Tech Raceway for the first night of the three night ‘Sunshine Swing’ for the series. Single night passes are available as well as a three day value pass for the event. For more visit www.dirttrackdigest.TV for pricing information. Both the Modified and Crate Sportsman divisions are competing on all three nights of racing action from All-Tech Raceway.
