SUSSEX, NJ-May 19, 2016- Already there’s a buzz in the air as top Northeast dirt track Modified teams anticipate competing in the Tuesday, June 28 The Big Show 8 Super DIRTcar Modified Series 100 at Malta, New York’s Albany-Saratoga Speedway.
“We’re expecting all the Super DIRTcar Series drivers as well as the top weekly competitors from Albany-Saratoga plus several other drivers who have indicated to me that they’re looking forward to the race. And of course, Kenny Wallace is coming to race. So I expect we’ll have one of the largest fields of the summer,” says event organizer Brett Hearn.
“Kenny was ready to race in last year’s Big Show 7, but when we had to go to a rain date, there was a conflict with his schedule,” added Hearn. “Kenny has been doing a lot of dirt track racing, so we’re really looking forward to having him experience our type of Modified racing.”
Presented by Recovery Sports Grill restaurants, with generous support from Halmar International, Ferris Industries, VP Racing Fuels, and Cedar Peaks Enterprises, The Big Show 8 is bound to be an exciting evening of dirt track racing at its very best. “Thanks to our sponsors, not only will Kenny Wallace be joining us, but the winner of the race will take home $10,000, one of the larger payouts on the Super DIRTcar Series tour,” says Hearn. “What better way to kick off the summer than a great race at a great race track.”
