Bridgeport Speedway Adds Fourth Rookie to the Ranks
Bridgeport, NJ – The D.A.’s Auto Body 2015 Rookie Class just became one more stronger as this year’s racing season is quickly approaching. J.R. Burritt has become the fourth official rookie to register with the track this off-season. Burritt hails from nearby Alloway, NJ in Salem County, NJ. Burritt actually got a little seat time last November during the Wild Card Weekend as he strapped himself into his ’06 Teao, 602 Crate/Sportsman.
J.R. is a life-long fan of Bridgeport Speedway and got hooked when he came to watch a Demo Derby over 20 years ago. The 48 year-old has previously raced motorcross quads in Vermont. This driver/owner/crew/sponsor one-man-band would welcome any help whatsoever come race day in the pit area. Be on the look out for J.R. Burritt in his No. 121 this season at Bridgeport as he has expressed his enthusiasm numerous times this winter. Any drivers planning on running this year’s rookie series are encouraged to call Danny Serrano at 609-433-4487 to register before the first rookie race on Sunday, April 12. The 11-race schedule has been inked onto Bridgeport’s ’15 campaign, which will culminate on June 27’s championship night.
