After a Fourth Place Finish, Nardelli Remains on Top of the Wingless 600cc Micro-Sprints Standings at Bridgeport Speedway

Sicklerville, NJ (May 20, 2015) – After finishing fourth in the 20-lap feature on Friday, May 15, Lee Nardelli remains on top of the wingless 600cc Micro-Sprint standings at Bridgeport Speedway.

Prior to this event, Nardelli had no major mechanical issues but that changed this past weekend. Following warm-ups, a coolant hose broke on his wingless 600cc Micro-Sprint. The team scrambled to make the necessary repairs in time for his heat race. With the mechanical woes solved, the Bridgeton, NJ driver went on to win his heat race. Starting seventh in the main event, Nardelli slipped back to tenth place in the early going. At the halfway point, he was in eighth place and ready to make a late race surge forward. In the second half of the contest, Nardelli steadily advanced forward to finish in fourth place. After the race, Nardelli was satisfied with his effort considering the obstacles that he faced. “All in all, it was a good night considering all of the hurdles that I had to overcome,” reflected Nardelli.  He will be back in action at Bridgeport Speedway in the wingless 600cc Micro-Sprint class on Friday, May 22.
