90’s Night at New Egypt Speedway Will Feature Pendant of Life Bonuses for Modified and Crate Divisions
Hammer Electric Giving One Lucky Fan a Brand New Generator Saturday, July 23rd

New Egypt, NJ– The 90’s will be in full swing at New Egypt Speedway when racing action returns to the Ocean County speed plant on Saturday, July 23rd. 90’s Night sponsored by Hammer Electric will offer drivers in the 358 Modified and Crate Modified divisions a chance at some extra cash as they collect Pendants of Life from the popular 90’s Nickelodeon game show “Legends of the Hidden Temple.”

Drivers in both divisions who win their heat races will receive a $25 cash bonus and a half Pendant of Life. If B-Main consolation events are necessary the winner will receive a $20 cash bonus and a half Pendant of Life. If a driver is able to win the feature already holding a half Pendant, they will receive another half Pendant to create a whole Pendant and score a $100 cash bonus. If the feature winner does not already possess a half Pendant, they will still win a half Pendant of Life and a $50 bonus.

“I’m a 90’s kid, so I wanted to take this night and make it not only a throw back to my generation but a night to offer some bonuses to the drivers and giveaways for the fans,” said General Manager Allyse Wolfinger. “I know some people won’t get the 90’s nostalgia, but I hope they have fun and enjoy the throwback.”

Those fan giveaways include goodie bags for both children and adults when they enter the front gates. The first 100 children will receive a goodie bag with 90’s favorites including Capri Sun, Gushers, and Handi Snacks. The first 250 adults will receive a goodie bag with 90’s staples like Hi-C Ecto Cooler, Airheads, and Warheads. The Speedway will also be selling t-shirts for both adults and children with their own spin on the Nickelodeon and “Saved by the Bell logos.”

Hammer Electric will add to the fan giveaways as the title sponsor for the night. They will be giving one lucky fan a BRAND NEW Generac 7k W Stand by Natural Gas/Propane Generator. Stop by the Hammer Electric booth set up right inside the main Speedway entrance to enter. Hammer will also be giving two lucky fans sitting in the “Hammer Zone” a free hour of electrical service.

Pit gates will open at 4 pm, grandstands open at 5 pm, hot laps begin at 6 pm, and the first green flag will wave at 7 pm. Adults are $20, seniors 65 and older are $18, teens 12-15 and military and their spouses with ID are $10, and children 11 and under are FREE.

New Egypt Speedway is located on Route 539 just minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike. A racy 7/16-mile D-shaped dirt oval, New Egypt Speedway serves Garden State race fans with some of the best competition in the country.
