ACCORD, NY – At Accord Speedway’s Saturday, November 25 ‘Gobbler’ event, the North East Wingless Sprints have added some “whipped cream” to the program.

The self-starting, wingless GM Crate 602 powered sprints are a first-time attraction to the post-Thanksgiving special. With the assistance of several marketing partners, the division will compete for a huge $1,000 to win in their 20-lap ‘Gobbler’ main event.

Thanks to Rapid Tire, the event winner will receive $1,000!

Second-place pays $500 courtesy of Land Hoe Maintenance LLC and third-place will receive $300 from Marshall Industries.

Peak Engineering has offered up $200 to the event’s Hard Charger.

Heat race winners take home $100 each from Northeast Paving & Sealcoat and Oakland Valley Speedway.

Accord track champion Eric Jennings is expected to lead the speedway’s regulars into the ‘Whipped Cream’ Wingless Sprint event. But Jennings recently sold his title-winning No. 44 and is actively searching for a ride.

New Egypt (N.J.) Speedway is the other local speedway running the division. Ryan Godown will invade with his Karl Freyer-owned car in search of the cool grand.

Joining the North East Wingless Sprints on the docket will be the big-block/small-block Modifieds ($5,500 to the winner of the 50-lap main), Sportsman (Open vs. Crate) offering a minimum of $1,000 to win, the Ron Wright Memorial Street Stock event and a nightcap Four Cylinder Enduro.
