VP RACING FUELS NAMED OFFICIAL FUEL OF DIRTCAR RACING

San Antonio, TX — May 3, 2018 — DIRTcar Racing and VP Racing Fuels, Inc., today announced they have extended a decade long relationship, naming VP Racing Fuels as the Official Fuel of DIRTcar Racing in the Midwest.

“DIRTcar racing is the biggest thing on dirt in the Northeast,” stated Bruce Hendel, VP’s Vice President, North America Sales – Race Fuels & Consumer Products. “With DIRTcar’s enormous presence in the Midwest this is a natural progression and gives VP a tremendous opportunity to expand our brand awareness in the region. The introduction of our D-fuels and our participation in the DIRTcar HP Program will help introduce VP to the engine builders not already fueling with VP Power. Our Ron Wick did a great job helping to put this all together and now it’s time to go racing.”

VP’s D-fuels, like the D12 that powers Stewart Friesen, Brett Hearn, and Matt Sheppard in the northeast, offer competitors the same performance advantages of C12 but incorporate a different dye color to make product verification easier. To promote and reward the use of these products and to support DIRTcar Midwest and WRG, VP has posted 5,000 gallons in awards at designated series and special events throughout the season. In addition, funds from the sales of D-fuels will be contributed back to WRG to support programs and point funds.

From dirt Late Models to Sports Compacts, DIRTcar Racing sanctions 13 different divisions, competing more than 5,000 times a year on more than 120 tracks across the United States and Canada. For over 30 years, DIRTcar has also sanctioned the most grueling and intimidating schedule in all of motorsports, the DIRTcar Summer Nationals. The premier drivers and teams within the dirt Late Model ranks race in 28 events spread out over seven states vying for their piece of a one million dollar purse over a marathon five weeks of competition. Along for the ride for all but one of these events is the DIRTcar-sanctioned UMP Modified sibling tour, the Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals.

DIRTcar HP was designed to connect aftermarket engine part suppliers with dirt track racer and engine builder communities. The largest program of its kind in all of motorsports, DIRTcar HP is entering its eighth season and boasts a blue chip lineup of partners, including Comp Cams, Edelbrock, JE Pistons, MSD, NGK Spark Plugs, and VP Racing Fuels.
